I guess... it feels pretty different for me. I wasn't really used to having anyone around, back on Earth. Especially after the Kerberos mission.
[And now he's got Hunk around. And other friends here who actually seem to care about him. So that's a lot more like it was on the Castle... which feels like forever ago considering how long he's been with the Blade.]
[Hunk looks back at him, his eyebrows furrowing, his lips twisting into a frown. But it quickly vanishes as he lights on something, grinning at Keith.]
Well, you won't get that anymore. You're stuck with all of us, like it or not.

[Keith makes a face, but it melts into something like a smile. Hunk is... good people. It makes Keith wish he'd gotten to know him better when they were both at the Garrison. Maybe he could've actually made friends at the time.

In fact. Keith finds himself blurting out,] I'm glad we're friends.
[Hunk's eyes widen marginally, his fingers twitching, mouth dropping open. Oh. Keith actually said--

[He rubs the side of his neck, slightly flushed. Really, that's super nice of Keith to say and he wasn't expecting it... at all, really.] I'm glad that we're friends too. Thanks, Keith.
